Yellow Deep-Sea Diver Sculpture

This extravagant sculpture in majolica belongs to the Big Humans Collection. This piece features a yellow, deep-sea diver with a seagull perched on its head and another one peeking out from the mask. Hand-molded and hollowed out to avoid breaking in the kiln, the first firing at 960°C lets the red terracotta emerge, while the final firing at 930°C seals the glossy enamels applied.
