Secondo Fuoco Low Vase

Raised on a recessed base of polished brass, this vase is crafted of slag with a low round shape boasting a textured exterior recalling a tree’s bark, and a smooth interior finished in polished bronze. This fascinating piece of functional decor belongs to the Secondo Fuoco Collection, an innovative project based on the idea of recovering discarded residues from past fusions (slag), meticulously selected and re-fused in a “second flame” (“secondo fuoco” in Italian) with molten bronze acting as a binder. Each piece will display slight variations, a testament to its originality.
