With her collection of anthropomorphic vases master, ceramist Stefania Boemi pays tribute to Sicily’s rich Moorish influence, reinterpreted in monochromatic colors.‎ This representation of a Moor man is handmade of terracotta with a hand-painted matte black glaze, to reveal the stunning decorative details of the ornate headdress with luscious fruits framing the noble face. A band of gold foil highlights the eyes with warm and shimmering hues to add a captivating visual contrast. The vase cannot be filled with water.
