Maru Gray Rug

The Maru rug—named after the Japanese word for “circle”—explores the deconstruction of this perfect shape. The designer fragments it, making it more relatable, as imperfection is inherently human. Randomly juxtaposed forms create an illusion of rotational movement, while warm beige tones enhance its minimalist elegance. Part of Illulian’s Limited Edition, it is hand-knotted and carded. This Gold 100 edition, in wool and silk (152,000 knots/m²), is also available in Platinum 120. Made in Nepal.
