This superb plate is part of a series of handcrafted pieces that interpret the traditional “pavoncella” peacock, a classic decorative motif in Sardinian culture. The bird is rendered in vibrantly colored enamels applied by hand using the graffito technique, by scratching the terracotta to obtain each time a unique and eye-catching object.
