Isabella White Plate – Limited Edition by Gio Ponti

Elegantly floating on a bed of flowers, the stunning woman protagonist of this decorative wall plate is one of Le Mie Donne collection (My Women). This series of plates and bowls was designed in 1925 by legendary artist Gio Ponti, as the first of its creations for Richard Ginori, when he was the artistic director of the brand. This plate combines classical elements, visible in the repetition of obelisk-shaped decorations around the rim, and a sublime Art Deco style that incorporates Surrealist traits in the perspective and in the town depicted at the bottom.
