Happy Pills Vase by Fabio Novembre

Designed by Fabio Novembre in 2012, this vase is one of five mouth-blown glass pieces in the form of pharmaceutical drugs, with each chemical composition written in faint letters. The vases are handcrafted with the “incalmo” technique: each colored section of blown glass is placed directly on the edge of the other, fitting perfectly with no visible overlap. The available vases are, from left to right: testosterone, adrenalin, oxytocin, phenethylamine, and estrogen.
