Crafted in the most prestigious Venetian weaver’s shops, it is fashioned of gold damask and internally filled with fine cotton. Just like a musical counterpoint (“contrappunto” in Italian), the piece boasts a unique motif that combines the typical western, damask pattern with an oriental geometric motif belonging to Islamic art.
