Fat Woman N.5 Sculpture by Lorenzo Quadalti

Deftly handcrafted of iron, this small, entirely unique sculpture celebrates the natural curves of a woman in deliberate contrast with the thin, streamlined stem connecting the body to the sober round base. Her stylized bust was crafted following a particular technique in which the metal sheet is shaped by hand directly onto the anvil when it is still hot.
