Color Spaces La Spirale Acrylic Painting on Canvas

Part of the 2018 Color Spaces Collection, this acrylic painting on canvas signed by artist Gianfranco Coltella was inspired by one of the Gestalt principles of perceptual organization. Since the human eye cannot stand chaos and needs a backdrop to reestablish coherence, this painting showcases a polylined spiral design where orange seems to emerge at first, but is replaced by the turquoise tone due to the optical illusion.
